Angela Evelyn Bassett has been an American actress since the end of the 1980s. Her work has earned her recognition by the media and for her television work since the 1980s. The awards she has won include the two Golden Globe Awards, sixteen NAACP Image Awards as well as nominations for Academy Awards and Primetime Emmy Awards. Bassett was raised by her aunt in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She was born and grew up within New York New York. Bassett, her sister and their mother were moved to St. Petersburg Florida when Bassett was five. Their father had divorced their mother. Bassett was in high school when saw the James Earl Jones staring John Steinbeck play Of Mice and Men and was aware that her goal of becoming an actor had come true. She attended Yale University New Haven Connecticut earning a bachelor's diploma (1980) in African American studies and a master's degree (1983) from the Yale School of Drama. Courtney B. Vance met her at Yale In 1997, they tied the knot. Qualification: B.A. the Yale School of Drama granted a Master of Fine Arts in African American Studies to Angela Bassett in 1980. The school she attended was the following schools: Jordan Park elementary school, Disston Middle School for seventh graders, Azalea Middle School for the 8th and 9th grade as well as Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett plays Ramonda as one of the major parts in the action film i.e. Black Panther: Wakanda forever (2022).
