Angela Evelyn Bassett was born in the US. Known for her work in TV and film in the 1980s, she's been awarded numerous awards including two Golden Globe Awards and sixteen NAACP Image Awards in addition to nominations for two Academy Awards and seven Primetime Emmy Awards. Bassett born in Winston-Salem North Carolina by her aunt after being born to New York New York, is an acclaimed actress. Bassett as well as her younger sister who were about five years old, made the move from New York to St. Petersburg to live with their mother, who was the separated father. When she was in high school Bassett watched John Steinbeck's drama Of Mice and Men starring James Earl Jones and decided she wanted to pursue a career as an actor. Yale University New Haven Connecticut awarded her a bachelor's degree (1980) which was in African American study, and a graduate degree (1983), from the Yale School of Drama. She met Courtney B. Vance, another actress from Yale and they married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. the Yale School of Drama awarded a Master of Fine Arts in African American Studies to Angela Bassett back in the year. She attended the school following: Jordan Park elementary school, Disston Middle School for seventh graders, Azalea Middle School for 8th and 9th grades in addition to Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett currently works in one of her lead roles, Ramonda, in the action-adventure movie i.e. Black Panther: Wakanda forever (2022).
