Angela Evelyn Bassett, an American actress, is known for her work in film and television in the latter half of the 1980s. After graduating from Yale University New Haven Connecticut in the year 1980, she earned a Bachelor's Degree in African American Studies, she was able to obtain an MA (1983) from the Yale School of Drama.
