Angela Evelyn Bassett has been an American actress since the end of the 1980s. In the TV and film industry, she's known for her awards and nominations. Bassett grew up in Winston-Salem North Carolina, raised by an Aunt and Uncle in New York New York. Bassett was able to move with her younger older sister St. Petersburg Florida at the age of five to be near their mother, who was separated from their dad. Bassett was in high school when was able to see James Earl Jones staring John Steinbeck play Of Mice and Men and knew that her dream of being an actor had come true. She went to Yale University New Haven Connecticut receiving a bachelor's degree (1980) in African American studies and a master's degree (1983) from the Yale School of Drama. In 1997, she was married Courtney B. Vance who was a fellow actor. Qualification: B.A. Degree in African-American Studies in the year 1980. Graduate of Fine Arts from Yale School of Drama School. Jordan Park Elementary School Disston Middle School (7th grade), Azalea Middle School (8th and 9th grades), Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett is currently working as one of the main characters as Ramonda in the action adventure film i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
