Angela Evelyn Bassett (born April 15th 1960) is an American actress. Known for her work in TV and film since the late 1980s she's won numerous awards like two Golden Globe Awards and sixteen NAACP Image Awards in addition to nominations for two Academy Awards and seven Primetime Emmy Awards. Bassett born in Winston-Salem North Carolina by her aunt following her birth at New York New York, is a well-known actor. Bassett was able to move with her younger older sister St. Petersburg Florida at age five in order to be near their mother as she was divorced from their father. Bassett was inspired to become an actress after seeing the play Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck, starring James Earl Jones. She went to Yale University New Haven Connecticut receiving a bachelor's degree (1980) in African American studies and a master's degree (1983) from the Yale School of Drama. The year 1997 was the time she was married Courtney B. Vance who was an actor in the same group. Qualification: B.A. Degree in African-American Studies in 1980. Master in Fine Arts degree from the Yale School of Drama School: Jordan Park Elementary School Disston Middle School (seventh grade) Azalea Middle School (eighth and ninth grades) Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett currently works in one of her leading roles, Ramonda, in the action-adventure movie i.e. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022).
