Ward is born April 15, 1976 in MonroeLouisiana. She was a student at a private Christian elementary school known as Monroe Christian School. For her secondary education, Ward initially attended Ouachita High School. She then transferred onto River Oaks High School during the summer right after her Junior year. Following her graduation, Ward briefly studied at Northeast Louisiana University. Ward quit school at 13 and moved in New York so that she was able to begin modeling. Several years later she decided to try acting. In the 1970s, Ward was a part-time actress with no credit on the daytime soap All My Children. Then she landed a short-lived role on NBC's primetime teen-drama Malibu Shores. The morning soap Sunset Beach cast Ward as the virgin Meg Cummings in late 1996. In 1999, she started a career in movies in the role of Brittany Foster the psychotic character from the horror movie The In Crowd. The movie, at first a failure financially in cinemas and then on video-on-demand (VOD), became wildly well-known. In the following year, Ward starred in a supporting role in the hit movie Shallow Hal. Ward also appeared as a guest in numerous TV shows as well as direct-to dvd movies. She was a main part of the cast of ABC Family's drama show Make It or Break It during the initial two seasons of the year 2009. The year 2009 was the time she was cast in the part Chloe Kmet as the mother of a gymna who is a teenager. Her personal life includes a relationship with producer David C. Robinson. Together, they have a son called Cameron.
